1964 F-85 Cutlass. The car is beleived to be a 442 body that was changed to a big block and a auto. I wasnt sure if it was or was not a 442 body, but after talking to a few ppl with 442's they seem to beleive it is. boxed rear controls arms, front and rear sway bar from the factory etc.. The car was build once before for a guys wife somewhere in IL. Anyway, i picked up the car and i wanted something different. i saw this and fell in love. shortly after buying it though i found a problem. someone had laid a peice of metal down on the pass side floor and then glassed over it for a quick elcheeepo fix. well to hell with that! lets do it right.. here we go...

Then cut big whole in the floor, the drivers side had very minor rust, but rather than have a few little patches id rather just redo them both..

Like the color .especially the how the engine turned out with the powdercoat. You did a good job with that quarter panel.

Hey dude, I know the feeling my puter also crashed but we are up and running on a very slow one. I hope your friend gets better, you said you found some mud in your fender? I had a hole in my right fender but we fixed it and now the big problem. I took those headers off and we back to the manifolds and the steering issue is gone, YAHOOOOOO. Next over this past weekend we were hooking everything else together and 4 speed stuff, found that my shifter rods wont move. Great, pulled it back out again found lots of trash and slug, mess. Front main shaft bearing locked up and now having to rebuild the BW T-10. Hofefully this weekend going back together. Dont give up on the Olds, you know it is not many left out there.

I am wanting to setup a Olds Club that cover the 50 states but it will take some time. I still need to order my 442 emblems soon to finish up the outside, then the interior headache. Chat with you later dude...
