Last Update of the Car: So far almost one year fixing this car, just the engine have been fixed, not yet the exterior, or he interior of the car, changes so far:
Steering fixed (had an small problem where it was pulling to the right side)
Brake System Fixed - All the break system is now operational completely.
Engine: All the engine parts are working fine now except for the Carburator that have been difficult to find, last place that i found one is Spain. (may take a while to fix that)
Electrical System - Everything is working fine now, there were some problems with a lose of power, but it was found to be some cables that were too old.

Existing Problems:
Rust - There is some rust in the doors and the back. Front side is rust free, as well as chassis.
Paint: There are some doubts about the original color of the car, since right now is white, but the interior shows an orange base and or a white and brown interior. Still not clear what will be the color of the car, (any idea please to the guess book)

I have pictures of the engine. i'll post them another day. Thanks for visit this page.

Updates: 02/17/2008

RUST:
The car have been sent to be treated against rust, several parts of the outside couldn't be fixed, they were done with fiber instead of attaching more metal. Found that the original color of the car was Orange, but due that i liked the white color, its been painted as white.

INSIDE:
All the seats and side pannels are being changed to Gray, instead of using the old vinyl, its being made with material.

EASY LEGAL ISSUES!:
Ok, something happened during the painting, we found that the chassis number on the front was rusted and some numbers cannot be seen, the problem was fixed by calling to transportation department (thats the name of the people) and they had a team that can re-mark the cars like this, since there was no signs of alterations and it was natural reasons the process was really easy to fix. and now its re-marked legaly.

We all find ourselves taking this wonderful game called Life too seriously at times. No matter what you or others experience in Life, recognize that we have all created experiences in our lives, that at one time or another, we considered tragic. All of this is your creation and you have created it, for a particular experience, remember to appreciate and experience every one of them. Most people never run far enough on their first wind to find out they've got a second. Give your dreams all you've got and you'll be amazed at the energy that comes out of you. Great effort best ride dude. 5*

have you done more to it? I'm interested in the handbrake assembly. My 72 is not working and I want to fix it. Thanks, Ken
