For Repairs I would buy the Haynes Repair Manual for the 2.3 engine I'm pretty sure they have a 2.6 repair manual also but double check. Try Ebay USA for the manual.

Regier is the only company. And they don't sell in USA. But you can buy there items on German Ebay, UK Ebay and if your lucky they may pop up on USA Ebay.

If your going to turbo or supercharge your car don't expect to buy a full turbo set off the shelf at a local parts store or on the internet. Its mostly going to be a custom made set. Please check out 190revolution.net for info on who's selling turbo parts.

    The reason why I say you can't get a turbo kit off the shelf is because most of them are rare now. I think theirs only two kits ever made: Lotec(Based on the pictures I've seen) and Mosselmen. The Mosselmen turbo kit is below. It's a pure bolt on kit for the 2.3 or 2.3-16V; I've seen both. This kit sell in the UK and overseas for around $1000+. Check UKebay.

    You can turbo or supercharge your car but you won't get the best performance out of it by using the stock fuel injection. To get the most power out of the car your going to need EFI conversion. The EFI conversion is not sold as a set that you can find at some shop or on the internet. You collect the parts. The website below sells most of the parts

Where can i get those taillights?

    You can get them on ebay. The one in the picture on top is a Euro tail light and the bottom should be a Hella smoked taillight. You can get the taillight smoke spray for about $15 if you look for it.

What kinda headlights do you have?

I have the euro headlights that you can buy on USA Ebay. Just make sure they include all the wires to do the conversion. The picture on the right is the Swiss headlights.

What kinda Grille do you have?

S600 grille that you can get for $70 shipped on Ebay.

What kinda seats do you have in your room?

Recaro C-Classic seats. These seats are very rare and hard to come by. If your lucky you can find a nice clean set for $2000. I had to get a used set on ebay usa for $600. They pop up once in a while but like i said be prepared to pay a lot.

 

What kinda seats do you have in your car ?  

Recaro Seats front and back. These seats came OEM in the 16V minus the color inserts. In the European market they came Half leather and the other half cloth.

Where can i get a different steering wheel?

    You can get a Momo steering wheel with adaptor on ebay usa. As for pictures of people that you see using different mercedes wheels all of that is a custom made to fit. It's pretty much just drilling and maybe a few welding of some new brackets inside the wheel. Don't forget to get the momo 190E Boss that is the most important part.

    You can buy the Evolution2 Wheels from any Mercedes Dealership for $400 Shipped to the dealer not your house. You can buy the wheel in 17x8.5 or 17x7.5. Thats not bad of a price when it comes to getting brand new wheels stright from the factory.

Where can i get a Euro Center Console like yours?  

    Spending days and hours on UK EBay just hope the seller wants to ship to America. I spent close to $120 for it ($100 for the shipping to USA by air)

The bottom adator plate the says Motorsports

    MotorMan253 sells the bottom adator plates for the  190E 2.3-16V (Not sure if he carries the 2.3-8V or 2.6). You might not see it on his page but you have to ask him it should run you around $400.00. As for the top part with the throttle bodies and runners you can use many different runners. MotorMan should tell you what should fit. If you want to go a different route you can use Webber Carbs.

 

    Another cheap alternative is to take your stock intake and cut them up and weld them together. Once welded together you can adapt some ITB's to it. Pictures above and below belong to W201-16

    Another thing you can do is go webcarbs as seen below.

       Tunning a Carbs from what i hear is really hard. Thats from what I've seen on the net i don't have any first hand experience.

       If you want to give these guys a call they claim they can put Webber Carbs on any car. Their in California.

What is the best way to lower my car? 

First you need to do it the safe way . Please for the love of god don't use the Kragen, Autozone, Joes auto parts store or whatever spring compressor you have at home. It's not safe and it doesn't even fit to start with . Its not worth your life to go cheap here.

^ Heres a picture of what happens when you use that Spring Compressor from kragen.

    What you need is the Mercedes spring compressor ($208 shipped to your door on USA ebay. They take money orders also). Now you need lowering springs and new spring pads (You can get new spring pads at the Mercedes Dealership for $9 each. Ask for a "Number 1 Pad to go Low or "#3 to go higher"). Now you will need alot of free time to install them.

How can I fix my Camber Wear on my tires ?

    The only problem with lowering springs is that they cause Camber wear (inside wear on your tires). To fix this problem your going to need camber plates for the front

How is it like to own a Evolution2?

    Greatest feeling ever knowing that I'll never see another one down the road. Due to lack of time and money I dont drive the car alot. I would say in 2008 I only drove the car less than 100 miles due to all of its problems.

How much does it cost to build a Evolution2 Replica?

My last owner told me he and the other guy put $10,000 into the car to make it look the way it does.

Did you build the Evolution2 Replica?

    No I did nothing at all. I saw the Benz in front of my old job and left a note. Got a e-mail from the owner and after a few months trying to earn some extra money. I bought the Evolution2 looking just like that in the picture below.

How do I tell if I'm looking at a REAL Evolution2 ?

    Only 500 Evolution2 were made for the European market only .
You can look at the shifter and see a number out of 500 made Evolutions. All Evolutions (Evo1 and Evo2) are made in Left Hand Drive.
