When most people look at a car like this, they go, "wow that's pretty clean, my grandpa would probably like that." Well that is the beauty of owning a sleeper, a sky blue wagon nonetheless. Oh, yeah, right a one hundred and twenty horsepower three thousand pound wagon, that's a real sleeper right. Well I suppose not right now, but as you realize the potential of this grandpa's car, it's about the time you take a second look at a wolf in sheeps clothing.
At the same time as the rolling chassis of the seventy eight mustang came about, the ford fairmont was born using the same drivetrain and suspension parts as its sister vehicle, I guess you could say in a way, that the fairmont was the mustangs ugly half sister; related but wouldn't tell someone openly.
The following is only the beginning of what's in store for this sky blue wagon. Please keep in mind everything was done on a High Schooler's budget and concepts were that of an eighteen year old.

Leather wrapped electric buckets from an '87 Turbo Coupe, and a loosely fitted console from a late eighties Mustang.

Rolling on 15x7.5 late 80's Mustang GT aluminums and 205/60/15 BFs. Custom door panels thanks to material suppliers The Home Depot for the fiberboard and JoAnn's Fabrics for the Ammityville padded white walls(Should have seen that one coming)

As my High School senior project, fabbed the door panels, head panel, and speaker box. Stripped the floor and tucked with silver house carpet and pad, can't hear a thing through that floor board, though I can't say as much about the windows.
