body work and paint......driver side fender needed replaceing realy bad body work by the last guy who have the car. he tried doing the rust repairs with fibergrass needless to say it came out bad. he also tried welding some of the repairs with brazing rods well if u weld for a liveing u know how crapy it came out so i'm going to have to grind all the brass out and get with the mig to fix this.I still have not made up my mine on how i'm going to paint the car.over the summer i read in hot rod about $98 paint job so i took a junkyard trunk lid and tri it. left it in the texas sunny to see how it would hold up so far so good i in stall the lid on my car now so i just mite do the rest of the car like that or good the Dupli-color way.stay tune and fine out which one i use and how it comes out. he pic of what i'm doing.

this is the look i'm after.......

the nose was no different poor bondo work. under the bondo was ( u guess it) rust. so out come the hammer and dollie to straiten the steel.

WOW!! body work is a bitch. now i under stand Y they charge so much.for the last 2 weeks I've been welding, hammering, and filling and i still miss some spots that now i will have to go back and do cause i didn't see it in primer.with the first coat of paint i can see the spot's i missed.OBTW i am using the roller method, Yes it is time consuming but fun at the sametime u can read about the roller method in hot rod under $98 paint job. or go here and read about it.CLICK HERE here some pic's
