One of 985 built in 1970, K/5 Blazer Factory 2 wheel drive.

Well, I've had the Blazer since 1994.
It was fairly stock when I bought it from Jerry Brown. Jerry is the owner of "THE TRUCK SHOP" located in Crossville TN.
This has been a truck that I always dreamed of. I always had a 4x4 Blazer, and when I saw this truck for sale I had to have it.
It has most factory or dealer installed options such as, 350/350, p/s, p/b, a/c, tilt, tach, shoulder harnesses, tissue dispenser, CST trim package, etc.
When I bought the truck my wife and I would take it to every show we could find. We have many trophies from those days. We got tired of showing it, parked it for WAAAY to long and all but forgot about it. It's no secret that I have a fondness for a nice Ford, and one day recently I was wanting a Cobra Mustang. With little money and a strong desire for a Cobra, I thought of selling the Blazer that I swore I would NEVER EVER SELL. When I started looking into a fair market value for the Blazer, I stumbled upon a very cool website dedicated to Chevy trucks from 67-72. The site is 67-72chevytucks.com What an awesome site, I live on it now lol. So, needless to say, I soon found myself with a rekindled passion for the ol Blazer. That's a good thing, Anyhow, long story short, I finally put it in the weeds like I always thought it should be. I put an air suspension on it over this past spring. It now sports dominator 2600 bags on all corners, and a c-notched frame. I have rear shock relocators from Early Classic Enterprise, KYB GR/2 shocks on all corners, It has a rear super Trac-bar from ECE also. I put Thorbeck Bros. Tubular upper and lower control arms on the front end along with a AirRideTechnologies(ART)swaybar kit, and ART front shock relocators. The air supply is another ART product called AirPod. AirPod is an all in one air supply, real slick for someone like me.lol As for the wheel/tire selection, I like very few aftermarket wheels, it's just me, I know, but they are all over priced, and In my opinion, there are only a few wheels that would look great on the Blazer. Torque Thrust 2's are one, and Vintecs being the other. I decided to go with factory rallies from the 73 and up chevy trucks. I love the look, they are cheap, paintable, and have several center cap options. So I have two sets of rallies, one silver, one black. I have the black on now for a different look. I have Astro van center caps from a 90's era astro van. 6.5in rallies up front with 1.5in trim rings with 215/70/15 Firehawk tires, and 8in rallies with 275/60/15 Firehawks at the rear. I like the look. Old school.
The Blazer needs some more work, but don't all classics.
Here are a couple pics of it on 20in Coys.

I'll post more pics and info as I get more things done,
This four way pic is the Blazer shortly after we got it, the ochra colored one is a 71 Blazer I had and reluctently sold to a Friend. And the Gold/cream 84 shortie was my wifes truck. That is a cool truck all on it's own. It's a Choo-Choo Custom. All the stuff you can see on it, came from the "factory".
