Then it all changed....

I went to a local car show called "Auto Fair" at Lowes Motor Speedway. There were a lot of cars. I came accross about 25 Grand Prixs on the infield calling themselves "CLUB GP". Well an exchange of cell phone numbers and meeting everyone I decided to show with them the next show there in 6 months. My 1st Build, Decided to do a few affordable Modifications. Upgraded/replaced the factory hazy headlights, stereo, Alarm, Buffed out the water stains, Tinted the windows, CAI, & Cleaned engine bay. At this point I wasnt really looking to drop a lot of cash on the car. I spent many many many hours buffing. The car had bad acid rain etching in the clear coat. So I bought a Pro series wheel and some aggressive cutting compound. After 4 wool pads, 3 foam pads and a finsih pad. Oh and 4 tries at doing the whole car I learned to buff pretty well and the car looked great.

I met up with the club and entered the show not expecting to win anything. My first show and I could'nt believe I won a trophy for Cleanest Engine Bay! My hard work and bloody knuckles from cleaning tight spots paid off. Well the Modification bug bit me. Was so cool to have people looking at my car and taking pictures. So I thought what else can I do?
