My grandfather was the original owner.
He handed it down to me in pretty good shape.

I drove my Silverado out to California to haul her back to Arizona.

Before he handed it down to me my grandfather swapped the original 307 for a balanced, blueprinted and bored .30 over 350 Small block, with an Isky performance cam, and a 4 BBl Carb.
He added an aftermarket A/C, and completely restored the interior.
It's got a 2 - Speed Powerglide tranny
When i got it home i found the radiator had a leak and replaced it with a new one, Replaced all the Belts, And she runs perfectly.
She needs a paintjob, eventually i will replace all the chrome and moldings and have it painted.
I have other plans rattling around in my head, but mostly i am going to keep it as close to original as possible, it's going to take alot of patience and perserverence but eventually i hope to have her looking good as new.
Heres a link to my 02' Silverado

I will post more pictures of the El Camino as the restore comes along.
