CMP update (4/21/07):
Have a fun track day. GT3 Porsche, couldn't catch me. Race preped trailer queen M3, couldn't catch me. Race preped WRX, couldn't catch me.
4.5 hour drive down, raised cain on track, 4.5 hour drive back. Number of other daily driven turbo'd cars on track, zero.
New video: 1.8 Vtec vs. Turbo B18C1
No sponsors, no stickers, no 50K race car budget. Just doing what I can, when I can, with my friends helping me along the way. This is what I feel a true grass roots car should be.
Oh yeah, I still get 22/30 mpg on the street/highway with pump gas. (about 6-8 on track)
This car has been my passion for the last 6 years. I have replaced/repaired/upgraded just about everything on the car. There is not a single bolt that has not been touched by my hands. Everything on this car was chosen and built to achieve the ability to have a street legal/dependable daily driven track beast. Trying to keep it as stock looking as possible. Although the roll cage and 13" rotors kinda ruin it…
Former P1Auto in Charlotte did the turbo install and tune.
I did my first race event last year at the GT Live Track Attack on VIR full. I had planned to eventually race in HU, but since HU is no more, the best I can hope for now is playing around in HPDE's, Track Attack's and Time Trails.

93 Mustang Cobra R chase at VIR - CarGuys
~11MB
Very cool Mustang owner. I don't remember his name, but it was a well built car with over 500whp. We had been playing around the entire session.
Ferrari chase at VIR

I had him in the S's, but lost him on the straight...
1st turbo build pic.
I had the intercooler black anodized for a nice stealth look.
Stop-Tech upgrade
I beat the Spoon RSX by 0.6 seconds during the GT Live Track Attack event at VIR in '06.

I have some slight heat issues with the paint turning brown on my hood. I figured the sticker would fix it.
