STEREO
First off the name White Power is a joke! It became a nickname at my fraternity last year and spread quickly. ANYWAY....I've got 3 Rockford P2 10" subs behind my bench enclosed in a 3/4" MDF box with just under 2 cubic feet of volume. I covered it with three coats of Herculiner. I built this box myself and couldn't be more proud of it, custom shops don't do work this good. I probably used 70 2" screws, all pre-drilled and countersunk along with a tube of liquid nails. The box has domed rubber pads to minimize rattles between it and the cab. Powering it is a 1900W Kenwood amp, wired in mono at just under 2ohms resistance. I also have the second best 5.25" components that JL Audio makes ($250 was the best deal I could find) and they're in Q-Logic kickpanel enclosures powered by a 250W Alpine amp mounted up in my dash, completely concealed. My I-pod is connected to my alpine deck via a full-speed i-pod connection.
SUSPENSION
I have Rancho 4" front springs, but I'm going with 6" EZ-rides by Tuff Country pretty soon here, just because the Rancho's are WAY too stiff and with the softer spring but more lift I should end up with ~5" of lift because they sag a bit more under the weight. The rear has 4" shackle flips by Sky Engineering and 2.5 blocks. I have flipped the overloads and installed bracketry for limiting straps whenever I run my Revolver shackles... they suck on the street so it's not very often. Because of this combination the truck points down slightly. I HATE having any vehicle that looks like it's sagging in the back! I also have an ORD swaybar disconnect up front, and RS9012's in back (13" of travel!!!)
WHEELS AND TIRES AND BRAKES
My wheels are weld Cheyenne look alikes. They are 16x8's with the recommended backspacing. I went with 16's because it's an older truck and lower profile tires don't fit the look (plus the tires are cheaper). I went with 8" width because I can air down lower without breaking the bead than with 10" wide rims. I also have 2" rear wheel spacers.
35-12.5-R16 DON'T SIPE THESE TIRES. THEY WILL BREAK OFF IN CHUNKS. However, they were cheap cause I worked there. My manager pissed me off so I bought them and quit a week later. Saved me hundreds of dollars. I still laugh about it to this day, because I love revenge.
Stock brakes but with extended length SS brake lines. Awesome pedal feel.
ENGINE
I've got an Edelbrock Performer intake (spread-bore) paired up with a 600 cfm Edelbrock carb with electric choke and an open element K&N... I need to get a spare closed element system so I can hit water with more speed and not kill my engine and use my friend's socks to dry out my carb and distributor and let the filter hang on a stick for two hours in the sun and feel like a retard. Ughh.
MSD HEI ignition. Looks cool came with the truck, probably adds 1hp, whatever.
True 2.5" dual exhaust, but sadly no x-pipes :( However I don't have cats and I've got a pair of Edelbrock chambered mufflers that sound just like 40 series Flowmasters! LOUD!
INTERIOR
I took out that ugly ass, huge, twin spoke steering wheel it came with and put one off a '94 Chevy in there. I don't like the aftermarket wheels very much because they either look stupid or they're too big, so this just looks nice.
I have one B&M T-handle for the tranny (SM465) and one for the transfer case. The one on the tranny shifter has a button on it for my line-lock, and I wired it into the lower dash with a CB radio cable (the thick curled black type) and so it looks pretty slick. I'm trying to make my tires last so I don't show off using the line-lock anymore... but it's tempting.
Everything inside is black besides the white lower dash, I herculined the floorboards and layed down insulated carpet. I've also got a billet column kit and a 3 3/8 autometer Sport Comp tach.
