IMPERIAL -- from 1926 to 1954, the flagship Chrysler. From 1955 to 1975, a separate division building the best luxury cars on the road with the possible exception of Packard. 1981 to 1983, Imperial was again a luxury line building only 2-door coupes. Resurrected again in 1990 to 1993, Imperial was relegated to being only a flagship Chrysler model again, but what a car it was!
This is the front of my 1993 before any work has been done...this is how I got it. New paint is coming soon...gunmetal grey and black cherry two-tone. I love the design...one of the best ever to roll out of Chrysler Corporation.
This is the rear view...beautiful taillights. Note: Real dual exhausts, as on all my cars.
Here is the profile view. Windows are tinted to the legal limits in Arizona, riding on 14" Arizonan whitewall tires for handling and comfort.
An interior shot featuring electronic instruments, automatic rear-view mirror which turns the headlights on and off, overhead console, factory AM/FM/CASS/CD radio, dual split-bench power reclining seats and miles of room. I love this car! It needs a little more power, but that is yet another future project. I am happy with it just as it is! Sadly, times change...teenage sons need braces, insurance is worthless. So, the Grey Ghost has had to go off to a new home recently. The '73 has to go soon, too.
