This is the car that I purchased 5 years ago. The car was all stock with the exception of the rims. Over the last 5 years I have been trying to transform it into my version of a perfect fun, truely streetable car. Every year big changes have been made, but the car always needs to be ready for our short summer season.

Here is a picture of the latest verson of a SBC that I recently installed. Holley Carb, Weiand Team G, World Cast Iron Heads, Lunati Solid Cam, lifters, and pushrods, Crane roller rockers(1.6/1), Lunati Dual Springs, Manley Race Flo valves (2.02/1.60) Ignition is handled by Mallory with a Hyfire VI ignition, coil and a mechanical Unilite Distributor. Fuel is supplied by a Mallory Comp 140 Pump and Filter, and -8 Line to the Carb. Exhaust starts with Hooker Super Comp headers, with a 3 Inch Flowmaster American Thunder Kit, with Super 40 Series Mufflers Link TextVideo of New Engine and 3 Inch Exhaust

Suspension consists of Tubular A-Arms from Global West, Hotchkis 2 inch Drop springs and Bilstein shocks all the way around. Hotchkis Sway Bars front and rear, Edelbrock adjustable upper control arms, and tubular lowers out back. Brakes are manual disc from SSBC up front, and drums out back(Came installed on the rear end). The driveline is made up of a Hughes Performance TH-400 with a reverse pattern valve body and a trans-brake. The Driveshaft is a custom 3 inch built at Machine Service in Green Bay WI. And finally the rear end is a Strange Engineering S-60, with 35 Spline axles, 4.56 ring and pinion, and large Ford style bearings and Brakes

Right now the car is at the body shop, New quarter, doors, rockers, inner and out wheel housing, fenders a 2 inch cowl hood, and all new chrome as well as a fresh coat of Dupont will be complete in about a month, I will post more pics when it is done

This is a pic of the car at Appleton's License to Cruise 2006. The Impala is my girlfriends.

Here in 2004 two engines ago, and without the suspension work, at WIR in Kaukauna WI versus Uno99's TA..........12.40 with a 2.15 sec 60 foot with no transbrake and on 8 inch radials. Bought the rims, need to fit a set of slicks, to go with the brake.
