MAINTENANCE
On this page, I will describe what regular (and irregular) maintenance I have performed on my car.

Synthetic Valvoline SynPower 5w-40 Motoroil
Cost - $20 upcharge
Benefits - No noticable benefits. Minor investment to prolong the life of the car. I've heard some engines running easily well up into 200k miles.

Valvoline SynPower Fuel System Cleaning
Cost - $60
Benefits - Much lowered gas milage. Excellent performance increase at only 42,000 miles. Well worth it even at these low miles.

Mass Air Flow Sensor
Cost - $100
Reason - Botched Cold Air Intake install. Costly repair.
Evaluation - Rough idle is gone. Quicker throttle responce through the range. Worth the cash in my opinion. Will improve gas milage and run better than ever.

Rear Window Replacement coming soon
Cost - $130
Reason - Rear window is made of plastic. Top came down on a 45 degree day and ripped in half.
Update - Found a window, and it has been delivered. Need to install.UDMZ3's 1997 BMW Z3

Your car is sexy & clean, I'm going to keep mine that way. I need to pump up the power...please give me your suggestions. You seem to be a smart and informed guy. Thanks.
