I recently got this, an 01 PT Cruiser from my uncle for about $5,000. and because of the color, and the fact my mom has an 05 Grand Caravan that is the same color I decided it should be named Lil' Red.
The First thing you notice about Lil' Red is the chrome smoothie wheels on her, either that or the gray plastic bumpers. Anyways she is a 2.4l 4-cylinder engine with a 4 speed automatic transmission. She is in good condition considering she has over 80k miles on the odometer, and is a Michigan car that is about 6 years old.

Got my Car back from the Collision shop yesterday, looks almost as a good as new. Did ask them if they could remove the dealership sticker on the back but they couldn't, ah well, with the new(or at least new to me) grill on and everything painted as it should be I can do some minor modding, which I started with one part of the Airbox mod.
Here is the orignal white tube that was in the air box.

Ok just a minor update that includes no pictures(sorry about that). I recently moved down to Indy, to attend Lincoln College of Technology, to become a Diesel Tech. Of course Lil' Red went the whole way, its about a 5 hour drive down to Indy from parent's house. One of my Chrome Smoothie wheels have started peeling a little bit. Also the spot of rust that I though I had gotten rid of is coming back. I also removed the rear seats, so I can get a little bit better on fuel economy and carry more stuff.

Got a Cherry Bomb Turbo II muffler this morning, hopefully will get it mounted tomorrow, as my school has a career fair today.

Did get the Cherry Bomb Turbo II muffler installed, at some muffler shop because school said "we can't do it". Sounds good I think too. Here's some random shots of my PT via my crappy webcam along with a clip of how my PT now sounds, obviously now the winter wheels have gone back on.

Its been a long enough winter here, finally its over. Got a digital camera and took a picture of the actual muffler, tomorrow hopefully I'll get the summer wheels on

ok got the other set of wheels on, went to an auto parts store and bought some car wax and waxed up the whole car, fixed a rusting problem on one of the wheels, but should really get it either rechromed or replaced. it looks better then the rust brown thats for sure though.
Sometime later...
Well sadly I found out one of my wheels is bent, and the rest just wouldn't balance out for me, so now they are off. the steelies are back on, But in the good news I recently purchased a clay bar kit, clay barred the PT and she looks fantastic. And today I got fed up with the hubcaps and just took them off for now, personally I like it a lot better like this.

Ok its been about a month since i even washed the car, its frankly quite dirty, but I did buy a stress relieving steering wheel cover, though I think grey woulda looked better on the inside then tan. oh well, got a new shot of the interior, and a shot of the clean engine bay.
