Hmm, Well if you have the money to do the swap then go for it, but if NOT then I would not even go there. Mostly make sure you wiring harness for the new engine is included in the deal!! Man what I have heard through the years on that alone. Hopefully you know of a really good mechanic to do all of this work for you? All I can say is make sure you do your homework on this one, cause there are soooo many little things that can go wrong. Check out some sites like www.240sx.org for more info and good luck. I have decided against the swap - just for the sake of not getting a headache over it all, ya know. Peace! TTYL Penny

Hey! Cool to see a 240 that hasnt been modified :) I do plan on keeping my CATZ fog lights for a while longer. I gotta get my master bushing kit installed and the body kit installed - then I will worry about the small stuff. Oh and its starting to "Sound" like Im gonna have to get my timing chain done ( I dont think Im gonna do an engine swap anymore) so again, Im gonna keep my fog lights LOL. Hey I voted for a new exhaust set up for ya! any how keep it real. dont rice--eeer up too much LOL!!!! See ya and I will check in on ya later! ~Penny~

Ok, first off, the crushed 240 brought a tear to my eye. I ordered my wheels from a Nissan dealer in Korea because at the time the exchange rate made them about $400.00. The best place I've seen to get them in the U.S. is Wheels Next. They are R-1 Racing wheels. They are GTR-5's and Wheels Next has them for around $800.00 or $900.00 with tires. My center caps still say R-1 Racing so if you got a set from Wheels Next or someone else all you would need to do is go to your local sign shop and have them cut you some Nismo decals for them.

Man you've got a nice 240. It's getting really hard to find one that hasn't been abused or neglected. Thanks for the comment on my car. There are several places you can get tail lights like mine. One source would be www.mynismo.com. I got mine from www.superiornissanmotorsports.com. They are imported from Japan and come with the tail lights, center section, filler pannel between the tail lights and bumper and a new lock cylinder. The pannel below the tail lights is made different and the center section sticks out more at the bottom so the US lock cylinder is to short. They use a different type of light bulb so you have to wire them in, but the color codes are all the same so it's a simple cut and splice. These tail lights are from the '96 and later JDM S13 cars. While they quit selling them here when the S14 came out, they sold the S13 and S14 in Japan through '98. I think they started calling it the Type X. That's also where my rear spoiler came from. Keep working on your car and updating your page. I look forward to seeing it with the new wheels.
