    i hear that you can pull the vynil off and just have the roof painted. depending on how bad the metal is under the vynil, the rust may com back. i have a buddy whose roof was so rusted that he just cut it off completely.

    IT HAD A VIYNL TOP ON IT WHEN I GOT MY CAR AND I TOOK IT OFF I HAD A LOT OF RUST AND HOLES YOU CAN FILL THEM IN BUT IT WILL COME BACK I HAVE A FAW BUBBLES COMING BACK BUT IT CAN BE DONE

    i own a 1970 cadillac eldorado i tore off the vinly roof but it never looked the same my advice to you is to just replace the vinyl the problem that you will run in to is that it does not suit it you have to do a lot of sanding and body filler to make it look like it came like that way and no matter what you do it will never look perfect

    Oh yeah! It's possible. A pro who knows what he's doing can make it look stock. There is also is a possiblity that it is too far gone, even though it can still be repaired, you might need to have a new top installed. Good luck!!
