Here it is... the car thats as old as me...

Its pretty much stock with its 1.5L carbureted engine, 12 valves though which makes me think the previous owner changed the head on it (stock '84 crxs have 8 valves right?), and its 5 speed manual transmission.

I've been driving it daily since 2005 and so far I have...

-replaced the carpet as well as stained the seats and inside the roof
-replaced the exhaust (stock)
-replaced the fenders (not yet painted here)
-replaced the front shocks
-replaced part of the brake line, master cylinder and wheel cylinders
-one head gasket

Next thing I'm lookin at doin is getting the rust underneath taken care of (probably should've done that first but...meh I'll do it now). Here's some pics of that:

This rust is located just in front of the driver side rear wheel and goes straight across the car in front of the gas tank and in front of the passenger side rear wheel

Anybody got any ideas how much it might cost to get this taken care of at a shop?? My equipment and welding skillz are a wee bit lacking for a job like this...

Clean Car For Being An 84! BTW If The car means alot to you, to fix the rust Strip the Car Down To Its Shell, Have it sand blasted then you can really see the rust areas to get fixed. I think thi9s would be the correct way of doing it but a very costly and time consuming thing. Happy Moding!
