THE 1957 Bel Air
Here is my fathers 1957 Chevy Bel-Air, its one of only 2 imported into New Zealand in 57 in this colour combo and RHD etc.
Its only 3 owner and very well looked after, and it shows.
it has only had a repaint once in the 1980's and other than that this car is totally factory (apart from the wire wheels added when my father bought the car of-course).



It was also in a New Zealand magazine one time:
one interesting thing about the 57 right hand drives that were imported into NZ is that they had the 56 interior dash board!

Here is a pic of my father with his 57, and you'll be interested to know the other 57 that was exactly like this was owned my grandfather brand new back in the day.

its only got 480km (about 600miles)on the clock since new!
thats right, and still wearing the tyres it rolled out the showroom on.
