This is my 1973 Montego MX. I just got it about a month ago. It has a 351 Windsor and a C4 transmission. I pulled the transmission and fixed the front and rear seals on it. The gas tank has to come out because one of the previous owners went off roading or something and it isn't getting gas into the line. I have to strip off whats left of the vinyl top and por15 the crap out of the roof. Once I have the money, I am going to re-vinyl it. The donut seal in between the exhaust manifold and the pipe kind of fell out, so the car is just a little loud. Oh well. It's getting a dual exhaust anyway...

It might look like shit now but when you paint it it will like new and you could put it in a car show and be really proud of it
not to bad for a ford alot of people bought these kind of cars they were popular cars in the earlyy 1970s this car was in place with the contintetnal

hello you montego owners......i was wondering if you could give me a little advice.......theres a 1973 montego MX 2-door for sale in my home town and it's selling for $1500. i havent driven it yet and dont know the mileage or engine size but the outside is in real great condition...... should i buy it?

i have one of those too but mines got a 429 in it and no vinyl top my dad tore it off some time ago its my favorite car in the world i just wich i knew where to get parts for it but ne ways 5 stars
