This is my 1984 Pontiac Parisianne brougham. I bought the car for around 700 dollars, after I blew the motor in my SHO, to get around temporarily, but I fell in love with the car. I have learned a lot about working on cars since my ownership. This is basically a learner car, an inexpensive car for me to learn how to work on cars and get more practice with. I do everything I can to avoid the use of a mechanic, and so for I've been pretty sucessfull
Here are some pictures of the car stock, or as it was when I bought it. there were a few big dents, and quite a few small dents.
since my purchase of the car in November of 2006 I have done the following:
-Replaced transmission with a recently rebuilt from the junkyard(lucky find)-$100
-Brand new battery-$50
-Brand new alternator-$40
-Upgraded stereo system with amp and sub-allready had(free!)
-Changed out some interior trim-$10
-various interior switches-$10
-Spark plugs and wires-$40
-Front Brakes- $25
-Rear Brakes- $ 5
-Front and rear bumpers-$41 a piece.. so 82$ total.
-more to come..and there are probably some that I forgot to add to this list.
Body Work Pics...................aside from being briefly shown how to do the body work, I did it all by myself
Now for some pictures in the garage being primed and painted..............
Now for some after paint pictures
Here are some recent pics I took with the new bumpers on and the car kind of cleaned up...still not able to buff or wax yet..fresh paint..
Also..if the paint doesn't look that glossy to you..I still have yet to wash it or buff it..so I'll put better pics up when I get that done
