Hey, and welcome to my page, showcasing my 1995 Mercury Villager. The van was given to me as a 16th birthday present; it's only previous owner was my mom. It cost her approx. $35,000 dollars in 1995, as it was almost fully loaded. Today it would probably sell for around $3,000.

While I don't currently have any mods, I plan to change that very soon. Because I'm 16, I don't have an enormous income, but after I get a job (which will be soon) I plan to do some work on the van.

I plan to install some Ignited Performance parts inside, including swapping out the CD player for a DIN panel which will include a starter button and 3 toggle switches. The Villager has 2 seperate DIN panels for stereo and CD player, which will make this mod easy and painless (the CD player stopped working anyways). As this mod is relatively cheap, this will probably come first.

After that, I'll probably buy a new head unit which will include an MP3 CD player so I can play burned CDs.

Following that I hope to purchase a full LED kit by Plasmaglow, including undercar neon, plus interior neon for under the dash, as well as under all the seats. An added bonus is that Plasmaglow offers a kit which can switch between 2.1 million colours, so I will be able to change the colours on a whim.

After that, I will buy a set of black or chrome 20" Konig Blix 1 rims with low-profile Falken FK-452 tires in 245/35ZR20. These rims and tires are not only cheap (while being expensive... I suppose that's contradictory but whatever) but they look amazing and the tires are nice and sticky. I've seen some 20s on a Villager and I must admit, they look huge, so I may end up going for a smaller size in the end.

I will also then paint the car a simple colour, probably some sort of OEM Nissan silver or black to pay homage to the car's true heritage (and to complement the rims, if I paint the car black, I'll get the rims chrome, if I paint it silver, I'll get the rims black). This colour choice will probably be cheap and will be easy to touch up.

I would also like to do some engine work to pick up the van's measly 150 HP, which (imo) is much too weak. I would like to install a performance exhaust, including performance headers. I may add a turbo. I believe the engine has potential... It has the same engine block used in the 300ZX, after all.

The above mods are reasonable, meaning that it's not too much of a stretch to afford, as long as I work hard. I don't have to pay my own insurance, or pay for university, so I can devote my wallet to the van. These mods will probably be around $5,000 total.

If I have the money, I plan to install an air-ride system as well as custom fabricate a bodykit from a Toyota Previa (Estima) kit by Fabulous Japan. These mods, however, require custom work and will most likely be out of my price range.
