RACE PICS
On the weekend i went to the Philip Island race track. This is where the round of the MotoGP and Superbike Championships is held.
I went on the saturday for the practice day. I was going to race and get timed on the Sunday but it was raining and i pulled out :(
I must say this is some of the best fun ive had in a long time. I got prob over 1 hour track time and was having a ball.
My friend timed me and i pulled roughly a sub 2:10 about a 2:08. This was my first time at PI and i was using street tyres TOYO Proxies...they were pretty crappy.
I will be going back up to PI in December for the Alfa Car Club Sprints and hopefully get a proper time. I cannt wait im looking so forward to this event :)
Heres a pic of the car getting ready sitting near the pits. I put the stock GTi6 rims on as the 17"s are too heavy and crappy for the track. Also the GRID2 rubber i have onthe 17"s is pretty craptastic too.
