This is all about the muscle car: a 1967 El Camino that I have called the Sixties Sprinter that I have been working on with my grandfather. Here's the background.
Originally had the 283 small block engine. An engine swap was done and a 454 big block out of a 1989 Winnebago motorhome was dropped in. Amazing power. 0-60 in six seconds. Runs a low 12 quarter mile.
Transmission also was upgraded from a stock 2-speed auto to a Turbo 400 3-speed.
Does about 2600 on the interstate at 75 mph.
Spray in bedliner as well.
Built at GM's Fremont, California plant DATE: Jan. 67
Aside from the powertrain modification, this Chevy is all original. Still has original radio and upholstery. Golden interior
