Stereo:
I began installation of the stereo April 5th 2007. It ended up getting finished in March of 2008 after 3 different setups I found something I can live with.
For my install I have chosen to mount the tweeters and midranges above the dash to help raise the staging. The MD140 midranges are mounted in fiberglass pods that replace the lower portion of the pillar cover. The tweeters are mounted in plastic pods that are at the inside corner of the doors.

(Note: The mirror control was located where the tweeter is. I relocated it to just in front of the door handle at the top left)
The midbass are mounted in the stock door locations. I have decided to angle the mounting by about 20 degrees. This will point the speakers towards the listeners rather than having them firing at the opposite door.

The subwoofer will be mounted in an enclosure in the right side of the trunk. The rear quarter panel is used as the box. I sealed the quarter panel off with fiberglass and bondo then used MDF to attach the speaker to the box.

The Dynaudio subwoofer requires a 2.0 cubic foot box. Squeezing a 2.0 cubic foot in the side of a trunk while still allowing access to the spare tire and retaining most of the trunk space is easy when you dont have to have the box in the trunk.I also kept access to the spare.

The amplifiers are mounted on a piece of MDF that will be just behind the rear seats, in the trunk.

The stock radio will be replaced with the Alpine F1 head unit and monitor. The H990 will be mounted on the amp rack.

The XM receiver, ION Bus/AI Net adapter, H/U power supply, and A/V hub will be mounted under the seats.
