worldtraveller’s 1977 Pontiac Trans Am

Almost done.  Started second restoration in 2013 but harder to find good shops that aren't swamped.  10 times the cost of my last resto years ago  and decals just went on a few weeks back.  New carpet, headliner and re-upholstered drivers seat.  Bit of touch up to do on the paint and still need to get my rochester carb back in.    

Painted.  RV Cam. New hooker headers. Hurricane Vector wheels restored.   Interior next week and decals.   Not doing the hood bird but have an all-black design I'm considering.    Pics very soon.

Well I'm back.   Mega- house renos  and  a ton of things slowed down my work on my T.A.  So far I've got way more $$$$ in the 400 engine.  Got talked into an R.V cam but not sure if I like the sound.  Definetely more power and better compression etc.  Had to get second mechanic to fix first ones work but not sure if it's much better.  New hooker headers and again got steered into an aftermarket part aka... Edelbrock carb.  I'm haviing the original Rochestor rebuilt but try and find anyone that knows how to do that correctly.  I'll run the Edelbrock for a while but my leaky Rochestor was meant for the car and it ran better than the new carb.  It'll be a stretch to get it in the paint booth next few weeks and I still have to order front seat interior and headliner.     Pictures will come.  Just got to get it where I want it.   B.
