1985 Chevy Monte Carlo SS. 5.7L 350 CID 4 Bolt main under the hood running a Holley 600 up top with a 14"x6" Green Filter wrapped around it. Under that sits an Edelbrock Hp Performer intake. 468 lift cam, GMPP Fast Burn heads, Dynomax Headers. Custom true-dual exhaust running welded three-chamber mufflers. Behind the powerplant is a 700R4 transmission. Custom shortened/reinforced drive-shaft. On the opposite end of that just happens to be a set of 4.11's in a 7 5/8" rear-end. First gear doesnt exist, even with 4.11's out back and a set of 235/60/15's outback. The picture doesnt really give much to compare to in terms of length, but they are roughly 50-60' long strips, and that was without power-braking to warm em' up.
I recently started building a new motor(12:1 forged 355). Only a 2 bolt block, but will be running an Eagle 4340 Non-Twist forged crank, ESP 4340 H-Beam rods, and a set of 11.1:1 SRP forged Pistsons. Have ordered just about everything I need to finish the motor. It'll have a Weiand Team G intake up top with a Holley 650 double pumper, a .547/.547 lift Isky solid flat tappet cam, a set of milled/oversized GMPP Double Humps(60cc chambers, 2.05/1.60 valves), a set of split ratio roller rockers(1.5 intake/1.6 exhaust), and a set of Hooker comp headers. Unsure of output at the moment, but Im hoping for around 425-450 whp.
