This is my 93 240SX with a RB25DET. I have gone through two SR's using 4 different turbos anywhere between a small Apexi AX53B60 and a fun Blitz K3#8. It never seemed to be satisfying enough. I've raced in clubs at Gingerman Raceway in Michigan, Drag at Rt. 66 in Joliet Illinois and now I live just 35 miles away from Watkins Glen. I have been part of SCCA since '02 (I think) and won the first Solo2 race I was in. It was the rookie class tho.  Became STS champ in South Bend Indiana in 2005. But that was with a '92 Civic, my winter beater.

I get bored easily. That only takes about 15 minutes honestly. So i cant seem to leave my car alone. Im always looking for more parts to play with. I was loyal to heavythrottle.com dealing with Jeff ever since he opened his place around 2001. He just closed down October '08 and wasn’t sure where to go. He has sent me in some one else’s direction.  And it was great advice.  www.EliteJDM.com talk to Nick, the owner.  I bought my second gen RB25DET and am mostly happy with it.

I moved to NY in '06 and there isn’t as big of a crave for imports here. I’m not complaining but it is nice not to hear the same old bull shit "damn imports" from the "anti"imort people. The ricer idiots are out here too tho.  i.e. rusting shit boxes with holes in thier muflers and cracked, primered, half done body kits that think they are race car drivers from stop light to stop light. ARRG! They are F-ing annoying! This is all a little different from Chicago area. It would be nice to see or hear from some one that appreciates the cars. Ill keep up on the pictures when I can. Or when ever the site reminds me that I need to update the page once in a while.

In the area? Keep your eyes open, I'll be around. But send me a message.

Join a club! SCCA or local, I would love to race with you.

Just explaining the piston pic. That is a Weisco piston that came out of my first SR. Found a use for it... My 30-06 made a visit. at about 300 yrds with FMJ.  A few other hits a lot closer with my M4 (those didn’t go through)

May 1st. Although I have not received my wire harness back yet, the RB project is still in the works.  This being the project car, I use it for SCCA.  I missed the first event with it in April so I had to take it for May.  Raced in SBR SCCA again.  Only got 5th but again, I had a better lap time than my friend, and that’s all that matters.  June 6th and 7th is the next race at Grissom Aeroplex near Kokomo Indiana.  Trying to scrape some money together for new lighter wheels and slicks.  We will see.  Also planning on the Semi-Nationals at Seneca Army Depot in New York on Jun 13th.  If you’re in either of those areas, both events should be a good time.

I explained before I was looking for new places to get parts now that Heavythrottle is gone. I used wiring specialties for the harness conversion and it took over a month. And when I got it, the lower harness was not modified to fit and the top harness looks like a spagatti mess. I’m greatly disappointed. Sure it works, but for $450 I expected a clean functional harness. I have also started using Enjukuracing and so far I am still disappointed. I bought a Koyo radiator, Greddy Intake plenum, and Greddy TB adaptor. So of course I needed the gaskets to make it all happen. They can’t seem to pull their shit together. It has been over 2 weeks and they just give me the run around saying they will email me back, call me back, "I have to talk to my warehouse" and never get back to me. seems like they don’t care about any good customer service no matter how much or how little you spend with them. And all I need is a few damn gaskets! If anyone else has suggestions or experience with some one for RB parts, please let me know.

Nice looking 240SX. A friend of mine from NJ has one, but it's and not nearly as powerful as yours. I know what you mean about those half-primed pieces of shit. The half-primed PoS of choice where I live is the mid 1990's Dodge/Plymouth Neon and early 1990's Honda Civics. Thanks for the comment though!
