I purchased this 1993 NSX at the end of 2004. It was on the west coast with a blown motor. I drove to Sacramento, CA picked it up on a trailer and brought it home. It has been a "Work in Progress" ever since. We, Mike Daniel and myself, have done all of the work ourselves except for a few alignments, and a little on-Dyno tuning. We are currently getting it ready for the UTC and other time trial events.
The new motor and trans are in. Soon we will be working on the body etc for more downforce. It is close to 2600 lbs and has around 500rwhp. Supercharged, with an air to air intercooler, suspension work, and a lot of late nights made it a great package. We took 1st place in the 2005 Cannonball One lap of America SSGT1-SB class and 10th overall after blowing a trans and changing it at VIR. (thanks to a VERY generous NSX onwer(Gary Yates) and a very helpful NSX enthusiast (Mark Hicks).
We hope to continue our efforts and represent the NSX community with several more Time trial event Wins in 2007.
