Ok, so this car started out as a daily beater...just something to get around in. But, like anything I own, it's becoming much more than just that. I bought the car in fall of '06. Around the end of November, I got this crazy idea of "hey, let's put a small block in it...just for shits and giggles".

and that's how the FrankenZ started. So I did some research, dragged out an old R154 from my supra, and dropped off some cash to the local engine builder. Next thing I know my car looks like this:

that's one VG30ET and an FS5R30A tranny on the chopping block. Gotta make room for that 5.7 liters somehow...

but like any true car enthusiast, I couldn't just stop at the engine. I dropped a ton of cash on the brake system, which is all from the Z32 and 350Z track edition. Here's what the 12.8" rotors and fully rebuilt Z32 4 pots look like:

and of course, you've gotta have the blingin rims:

those guys will be wrapped with some 275's on the rear and 255's on the front. Might be a bit oversized in the rear for a 9" rim, but then again I am putting MT streets on it....

this is just a teaser of what's to come...gimme about 3 months to wrap it up, my goal is 500RWHP on a 150 shot of nitrous, we'll see if I can make it, but I'm already convinced it'll be fast enough before the juice. I'll keep the page updated for sure though, I've gotta do a lot of fabrication, cutting, welding, and screwing stuff up to finish this....just keep in mind that this is NOT going to be another ghetto V-8 swap, and it is NOT going to be riced out. A cowl induction hood, rims, and dual exhaust are going to be my only clues for would be opponents that I'm running a modified car...if they don't catch on, well I guess they'll just have to find out for themselves.
