When i first put the system in I had the sub in a ported box that took up a good amount of the trunk space and i hated the way that it looked, and there was no way to mount the amp and make it look good at the same time. So i decided to build a fiberglass box and amp rack to tuck them on either side of the trunk.
I decided to mount the amp on its side to take up less space and i was able keep the trunk light.
Now that i am done, it sound great, not as loud as the ported box but i have all my trunk space, and it looks sick too!
