I spent a good weekend (and $100 in products) detailing my auto for the first time. Washed, clayed, polished, waxed. Wheels, panels, and glass. First up: washing the wheels.
These rims are dirty with road grime and brake dust. I used Meguiar's Hot Rims All Wheel cleaner, and Eagle One for the tires.
Here's the model wheel after I rinsed off all the dirt and soap, and later, when I applied a coat of tire gel. In my opinion, cleaning and dressing your tires is the best bang for my buck. Look at them shine like new!
After all that hard work, she really cleaned up...
