1978 Honda CB750 Four Motorcycle
I got this for the sum of: FREE!
My dad has owned this motorcycle since August of 1991. He has never taken it for a ride. It wasn't running when it was given to him by a good friend of his that passed away from a battle with cancer. My dad kept is stored in the garage for a few years and finally got to working on it. One weekend he and his brother (my uncle) took apart the carberator and cleaned it up. They were able to get it to start again. I remember standing in the garage with my hands over my ears when they finally got it running. I was only 11.
Fast forward 15 years, I asked my dad one day if he was going to do anything with it. He said he wouldn't ever have the time to work on it. Then he offered it to me for free. I obviously couldn't pass that up.
I hope to detail the restoration on this page. I will begin by removing all the fluids and checking all the hoses and cables to ensure all is in working order. A complete fuel system rebuild is in order. I will most likely take some of the motor apart to ensure all is well.
This bike only has 21K miles on it. Not too bad for a 28 year old motorcycle.
