Here is what I see as a potential for my Firebird. I would like to lower it, new rims, shave the door handles, do some simple paint modifications and tint. Under the hood is where I would have the most modification. If the duke is still hanging around by the time I start in on a resto, I'd like to mod it with a turbo or a supercharger of some kind. If the duke dies before the restoration, I'd like to drop in a nice v8. Anyway, enjoy the photoshopped image. :)

My Firebird has been set aside for the past couple years and I have recently needed it for it's fuel economy. (averaging about 2 bucks a gallon around here). I got it running again with a new battery and alternator have have put the car back into regular driving rotation. I don't drive this car in the snow or rain any more due to a rust hole in the firewall causing water to saturate the passenger floorboard.

I finally washed the car. It had 2 year old dirt on it! I basically had to wash the car twice to get it shining again.

Anyway, enjoy the new pictures.

I replaced the two tone '93 Camaro buckets with a set of solid charcoal gray seats out of a 94 firebird. I like the camaro buckets, but these bird seats seem to get the interior back to an original style look.

Well here's a couple updated pics of the trusty Iron Duke. I had to get a new alternator to get the bird running again. I would like to take the motor out of the car this summer to fix the rusty problems I have on my firewall as well as my battery tray.

Here is my first ever project Firebird. I bought this car in February of my senior year in high school (1998). I paid a meager $500 for it. It wasn't running at the time of purchase so my dad and twin brother towed it home! It sat in our driveway for the next few months until I could afford to start working on it. (sound familiar?) To make a VERY long story short, the car needed a new fuel line. The rubber line that connected the pump to the metal fuel line had rotten in the 3 years that it sat. After replacing that along with a few other things (just to freshen everything up) the car came to life! My first car was finally road worthy! Over the course of several years this car as slowly become a personal and unique car that I really enjoy to drive.

Here is the motor: the air cleaner was removed for cleaning...

Heres a picture of the '87 WS6 front sway bar I picked up for $10. Got it from the same car I picked the wheels from. :0) I also installed poly end links.
