My Truck Is A Gold 1980 Ford F100 Custom Stepside

With A 5.0L/302ci v8 With A Two Barrel Motorcraft Carb.

This Truck Has Been In My Family Since 85'

Finally, the Truck has Been Passed Down To Me

My Dad Has Kept Great Care Of It,
Not Much Rust,But Alot For Me To Fix Still.

As you can see in this picture, these are the wheels that i had before i got the new Cragar Wheels for an Amazing $300.
Depressing Enough I Broke These Wheels In An Accident So Now Im Back To The Old Wheels =[

One Of The Problems To Start Off With is that in 2005 my mother got in an accident with an accord. the accord going 40mph hit the passanger side right on the RH fender and just broke the mag that was previously on the truck and completly smashed in the fender, while the accord was totalled.

There are also cracks in the fenders, which are going to be a real hassle to fix, because they are fiberglass fenders. I'm looking around for some fenders, i might either buy another truck for parts, go to the junkyard and look for some fenders, or i just might fix them myself, i dont know yet.

The Interior was just done about 3 years ago by my father, and is still in very decent shape (except for the stain on the carpet xD )

My Father got a stereo system and speakers for the truck before it was given to me

The only problem being that this was in 99' and the stereo needs to be replaced because CD's just wont play that well anymore, any bump in the road makes the CD's skip like crazy, so im prob going to replace it all, the damage to the player may have happened because of the leak in the front windsheild, which ill have to replace.

Im looking forward to rebuilding this engine later this year during the summer =]

you might tell that there is an oil leak and im looking into fixing that as well. it is really dirty, and as a note, it hasent been cleaned since the last time it was rebuilt in 94'

As you can see, my front bumper was bent in the crash, and the headlight bezel is underpressure and about to crack any time now, *knock on wood* but hopefully not anytime soon. Love the chrome. Im looking into getting a Billit Grille, its gunna look real sweet =]

The bed of the truck is completly thrashed.
Sweetcomablack's 1980 Ford F-Series Pick-Up
as you can tell im using a piece of plywood right now for the bed, but im looking into putting some nice redwood or red oak in the back to make it look nicer, but of course ill have to wait until i get the truck painted.

Im looking into painting the truck gun metal grey with jet black racing stripes, Even though im kinda attached to the beautiful gold finish.

Another thing im looking into doing is buying a 5.0L/302-347 CID SMALL BLOCK 450 HP "Z" HEAD FORD RACING PERFORMANCE CRATE ENGINE, but im told that i cant do this by my father, and i just think that hes pulling my leg because he doesnt want to me race it around ;] i mean i dont see the problem because its the same size engine thats in it, he says that california emmissions control wouldnt let me do it.
so if you know anything about it please fill me in

Other than that, the truck is in great condition, it runs really well, gets me from point A to point B.
