Bullrun Rally photos and diary on Page 2
3 years of restoration; this car is extremely clean! The scope of this project GTO was to win car shows; be driven daily, endure long road rallies and be seen by car enthusiasts as yourself on CarDomain; and not to mention - BULLRUN!
There were only 38 GTO's produced and less than 15 replicas running on the road today.
We are a husband and wife team (how many of you can have your wife a part of your "hobby"?!) We are passionate about our cars (currently - we own: (1) 2007 Jeep SRT-8, (2) 2002 BMW E46 M3, (3) 1997 Porsche Boxster Rennsport Edition, and (4) 2002 Jaguar X-Type R. This Project GTO is by far - our "funnest" and most "attention-stealing" car.
We know it will create a lot of controversy having a car that both reflects the spirit of Ferrari and the reliability of a Japanese engine. Whichever way you view it - this car literally attracts attention EVERYWHERE. Our car is so detailed that Ferrari owners have to look thrice and over again to deem it a replica.
We hope to see you on the road someday. Drive SAFE!
Mods:
Custom IMRON 2-stage Paint
Original GTO Body panels; combined with Tom McBurnie's design - Miami Vice!
Ferrari Car Club of America Member
16" staggered Borani Wire Wheels
Custom 2-in-1 headers; custom exhaust; Port & Polish, Extrude Hone, others. . .
Eibach/Tokico Spring/shock set-up
Interior Safety SCCA Rollbar, MSA Sway bars all around
Too much to list!
Powered by a reliable and powerful L28 6cyl engine for everyday driving. This is not a garage queen - Project GTO is driven at least 3x a week!
Back to BULLRUN!
We'll See you in Montreal! AND the casting call for Spike TV's Bullrun Episode II!

Just an FYI - there were 39 Ferrari 250 GTO's produced and they all exist today. Also, the last Ferrari 250 GTO Replica Registry published by Terry Watson showed that there were well over 100 of these replicas on the road and that was quite a few years ago. I bought my Alpha 1 GTO kit from original kit manufacturer, Joe Alphabet, way back in 1986. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/236622 Good luck on your sale. SpeedRacer

Car looks real good guys. One quwstion, why didn"t you put trim rings and covers over your headlights? I bought mine through "Thunder Ranch", Tom McBurnies place. I also went for a 383ci 460HP "Engine Factory" motor. My car is for sale on E Baywith several pictures. I want a 430 Fcar.....We'll see. Again, nice job on your car. Ahaaa...Bull Run!
