hello all this is a 1974 right hand drive datsun fairlady z just got her two weeks ago i think i have a car addiction but its ok she was to beautiful i had to have her

heres an engine shot what a powerhouse the only jdm car ive ever heard of where they got screwed instead of us this is an L20E series inline 6 producing 115 horsepower whereass our 260z got an L26 producing 140 horsepower no big deal though as an L28ET will fit without any mounting issues wanna just get the L20E running for now needs some head work the guy I bought it from ran old gas through it
not sure if this is accurate or not judging from the looks of the body and how well everything has been preserved it would not suprise me if this is accurate mileage

some various shots of the interior

have to put the ignition back together, for some reason he thought pulling the ignition apart would prevent theft. notice the floor pans just one spot of minor surface rust insane for a car this old especially a z car.
I dont think thats a stock shift knob,
thought this was pretty cool notice casting marks on the exhaust, and i dont think these came with back up alarms.
anybody know what these are they say drag on the center caps and the weights all have enkei written on them not sure if the wheels are enkei though
only bad rust spot on the whole car
see any door dings i didnt either crazy
headlight covers love it now just need the mirrors back on the fenders
shaved off the ugly aftermarket mirrors that were on it

gas shocks for hatch work like brand new
now that thats all done i can start rippin crap apart by the way i love the color going to paint it exactly the same banana cream yellow with a pearl overcoat anywho should be fun ill keep posting with pics of the build
