1992 LX made its debut at the Spring Break Shootout and after 13 rounds of eliminations, the car emerged victorious, winning the "unlimited" class ("run what you brung") with a 9.04 @ 153 mph. The car later ran an 8.55 @ 155 mph and has gone a top speed of 167 mph. The car is featured in the July issue of Muscle Mustang and Fast Fords.
