This is my 84 Buick Regal "Bruickuette" That I finally thought a nickname for, since she is a charcoal colored brick, and likes to run hot or did anyway. I bought it January of 07 with 95,000 miles on it. It currently is at my sisters house, while her boyfriend and I do body work to it. I found this car sitting on the street with a forsale sign on it and didnt pay much attention to it at first. At that point in time I wasnt to interested in g-body cars, but as time went i slowly started liking them. Suddenly I wanted one, and this one was a good canidate.

Update:
Cars Finally painted! Still needs to be buffed though

Heres a couple of concepts of what I want her to look like. Lowered a little bit, white letter tires and tinted windows. Or lowered, trim removed and American Racing torq thrust Ms added. Tell me what you think and take the poll!

Yay! I made a G-body Calendar!

Plans: The most likley course of how things will go is I will save up my money for a 350 chevy and drive the 3.8 until it dies. As far as the swap is concerned, just a mild 350 will do fine, putting out somewhere around 210-250 hp to start. A 200-4r transmission is what id really like, but for now and simple ease of a swap, Ill probably go with th350. The rearend would need to be built up some and swap out the open 2:41's with a posi 3:42. I want to make this car streetable, but still giving decent gas mileage, especially these days.

I havent worried about lowering or suspension or brakes other than normal maintenance, because whats the point of making a car handle better if it doesnt have the power to put those handling skills to use? But i would like to lower the car an inch to inch and half, and stiffen it up a little. Also adding 4-wheel disc brakes. But these are furthur down the road.

You have done a lot of nice work to this car!!! I certainly can relate. We also removed the vinyl top on mine, and boy oh boy was it a mess. Originally I was going to put it back on, but once I saw the damage to the roof, I changed my mind quickly. Since there is no such thing as an 83 Grand National, I decided that was the look I was after, I have both the T-type hood and rear spoiler, the hood is on, but as yet we still haven't put the spoiler on. Since we aren't all that far apart, maybe we will run into one another at some show? I love what you have done here. Carrie
