Hey Im new to Cardomain. Well I have a 1989 Nissan 240sx with a stock SR20det under the hood. It also has Tein lowering springs. I have quite the story about how I came to own this 240sx. I first heard about it from a kid at my school, his buddy owned it and was looking to upgrade to a 91-94 DOHC, so he was selling his SOHC 89. I called him and test drove it that night. He said he wanted $1300 for it, but he still had to clear it with his parents. Well a week later he said he needed $1800. Well this car has 189,xxx mile on it so I was a little pissed that he raised it. Well I talked him down to about $1600, but he lost the title, and one was comming in the mail. I was like ok let me know when you get it. Well on his way home from C9 he F***ing wrecked it. pushed the bumper over to the right, broke the right light, bent both Light covers. Then he fixed the front end and said he would sell it for 1300 agian. I had the money a week later, but when i called him he had blown out a wrist pin in the motor and wasn't running. I was like WTF. But my determination for a 240 kept me going. I found a Coupe 240sx located at MLS (Modern Speed Labs) here in Indy, they said if he gave them the car and $500 that they would give him the coupe. Well I contacted MSL and decided to have them drop in an SR20det redtop and i would buy the car for $4,300. I gave them $2,000 up front to cover the cost of the motor and shiping, It sould be in soon, and hopefully It will be sitting in my garage March 31. Things are finaly looking up.
