1968 Pontiac Firebird
Here she is my 68 Firebird. A little rusty but she'll make a beautiful Muscle Car. Everyone is stuck on Camaros but Firebirds are just as nice. Here are a few pictures of the day I bought her.
She was sitting near a cement company for 20+ years, as you can see the dust settled nicely all over her. I actually believe it helped her from getting completely rusty.

After I cleaned her up for 2 days straight scrapping and washing she turned out to be a rainbow of colors.
I sanded her down to bare metal and primered her grey. It didn't protect quite as much as I wanted so I went with a better primer.

These last pictures are how she is now. I am currently rebuilding the 400 pontiac engine I pulled off her nothing special just a 030 bore and a HP cam. Any one care to help? I don't really know what I'm doing, but I do have the heart. Many people have told me to get rid of her, that she's to rusty, to much work. I don't know I think I'm in love with her I tried putting her for sale before and I couldn't bare see her go so I stopped and didn't take any offers. I have all the time in the world, no hurry to get her done. Although I do wish I could drive her around. For now I'm content driving my 1980 Trans Am T-top. Slowly but surely.
