Ok welcome to my page my names Mark, and this is my 1978 Chevy Malibu Sedan aka "Malibutay".

These are the before pictures of it I just started finding parts for it its taken me a while but I just found the time and the money to put into this project.

I must add that this is my very very very first car lol. I was car shopping for a caprice classic when I came across a white 79 malibu. The guy was selling it for 1200 I had 1300 in my pocket. He told me he was going to put a new engine in it because the one it has was basically no good at all. So I go back a week later and the price had changed and was now 2,000. Sadly to say after that day I was giving up hope on finding a car. This happend saturday, so sunday comes around and I'm in the classifieds looking for a cheap car. What do ya know a guy was selling a 78 malibu for 800 bucks and nothing was wrong with the car AT ALL. Whew I called him and it was bought in full that day. And thats when I took this pic

As you can see from the pictures its been thru a rough couple of decades lol. I'll have it to tip top shape in no time. Currently it has a v6 as I stated before but soon to be a 383 Stroker I just purchased as you can see from the picture lol. So no no photoshop editing.

Other modifications will include a new paint job, redesigned interiror, 383 stroker decal on the rear above the word Malibu. This is just a picture of the word malibu on the side of the car lol I was so happy to finally have one I took pics of everything lol.

This is a pic of the headliner its been falling for so long I tacked it up with thumb tacks lol.

Ever since the day I bought it I've washed it like crazy just so happen to take a nice pic of it that day though lol.

As I said earlier the very furst pic I took of the Malibutay.

A a nice pic of the lil v6 motor thats in it. Its funny wen I went to buy the 350 the guy argued me up and down that only chrysler's came with 3.3 engines. Then he bet me 200 off the 350 and bam I came out right 3.3 engine was only put in the 78 4 door malibu. Ha take that.

A pic of the driver side visor mane this car has had it rough on the inside. But not one ding or dent on the outside.

This is the front bench seat its terrible on the drivers side but the passenger side is pretty nice to sit on lol.

More headliner pics

This is a pic of the lil part I don't know wat its called but its where i have my 2 kicker 6x9's in the backseat. Its funny kicker makes garbage woofers but their 6x9's are GREAT!!!!!

This pic here is of the driver side door mane before I got those door panels off a 80 malibu there wasnt anything there at all everytime I closed the door pieces of the door panel would fall off.

This is the most up to date pic now its has 5% tint on the windows and '78 Malibu on both the stationary back windows and a Chevy symbol on the back window I don have the pic for that one yet though lol but it all goes together with the Antique Tags b-)

And finally the picture of the 350 motor I bought I'll have the pics of my machanic working on it later lol adding the 383 stroker kit.

---UPDATE 383 Stroker----

Finally got around to putting this motor together. It's now a 383 stroker which cost a heck of a lot of mula. 3 inch Dynomax headers, with 3 inch Original 40 series flowmasters. Motor has a few extras to it the nothing major, but its a longgggg way from a regular small block 350 lol. Post me a commment and tell me what ya think lol.

Its not a drag car but I have a nos system for it that hasnt been installed. I'm still debating on it, but hey tell me what ya think I should do lol.

From a 200 cubin inch 3.3 v6 to a 5.7 350 :D I wish I knew what they rated a 383 at lol.
