UPDATE: My front left tire blew a few days ago so now I'm currently on stock rims (ew!). I shaved the Corolla letters off my trunk. And I'm currently in the process of painting the tire wall's letters white to at least give the stock wheels some appeal. I'll post pictures up as soon as I can.

Name's Kenny Dang, I'm 17 and this is my 1995 Toyota Corolla DX. It was bought by my dad brand new right off the lot and now its passed on to me. It was a father-son project. I no longer live with my dad so now I'm pretty much on my own with the car. Yep, lots of sentimental value and I've bonded too much with the car so no way am I ever gonna sell it. I'm representing Oklahoma in California with this car! If you like, you can hit me up on myspace: www.myspace.com/the_vietman

Here are the outside upgrades so far. I plan on getting it painted Electric Green Micasometime. Its found on the 01-07 Toyota Highlanders and 01-05 Lexus IS. I'm aiming for the clean look. I named the car Ecstasy because just about everything about it makes me happy and I'm absolutely addicted to it.

Our current rims, the MB Motorsport 177, weighs 26 pounds each...we decided it was kinda heavy so we are planning on replacing them. The rims are wrapped around on Yokohama's Ultra-High Performance AVS ES100. The size is 205/40 ZR17 84W

I'm gonna buy one of these after I get the car painted that electric green color. But I can't quite decide... what do you think?

All show, no go. This is my engine before it was cleaned (left) and then after it was cleaned with brake parts cleaner and then finished with steel wool (right). A Vibrant intake is the only mod on this 7A-FE. 32 MPG so that means it doesn't have much power. But due to the economy, I'm not really complaining.

I didn't clean the engine though. The credit goes to a good friend of mine, Zac. Check out his Prelude if you like http://cardomain.com/ride/3042746

Another performance upgrade is this Tsudo Performance Catback Exhaust System founded on ebay. This exhaust is definitely not one of those knock-offs that you may find on ebay. Plus, the car sounds like a beast! No rasp, just a growl.
Here are a few interior pics. (The PSP is hooked up to the stereo and the PSP stand was bought off ebay.) The only mods interior wise is that the entire stereo system is aftermarket. I wish I had a manuel tranny. I'm thinking of swapping it for a Celica tranny. The Audiobanh amp pushes 400 watts to two 10" subs. The subs are called Excursions - which is some off-brand speakers.

Well thats it for now and thanks for visiting my page! Comments would be nice. You don't have to rate because I'm not completely done with the car yet. And remember, make your car you! Don't let others tell you how you should and shouldn't build your car. Because at the end of the day its your car, not theirs.
By the way, this is the paint that I want on my Corolla. It's called Electric Green Mica (6R4). Trust me, it looks WAY better in person.

This ain't my Corolla. I don't remember who owns it but it was originally blue. I edited to get the shade of green I want. Yea, it doesn't match the above pictures but you get the idea. And the Subie is kinda an idea of what theme I'm going for.

Next is to:
Buy OEM style carbon fibered hood.
High flow headers.
Then paint the car Electric Green Mica (6R4)
Install racing seats.
13" slotted rotors.
4 piston calipers.
Remove rear drum break and install a small disk.
Possibly buy the black-top 4AGE, paint the engine bay black, and purchase some engine dressup parts.
Purchase gauge pod with RPM gauge (because I don't have one), water temperature gauge, oil temperature, and voltage gauge for looks.
And maybe if I have enough money, I'll convert the car to a manuel.
I have some work cut out for myself. But it'll be worth it!
I decided not to turbo this car. You never know when gas might rise again so I need the 32 MPG this car provides. Instead I'm saving up for a 1980 Camaro or a 1995 Supra for speed.
And page 2 is just a little page of what my car use to look like. Check it out if you're interested.
