This is my 1991 Mustang GT. I have been wanting one of these before I could get my license. Now that Im old enough to afford insurance and my wife has her minivan, I sold my 2000 Dodge Stratus and bought it. Unfortunately, I had to buy an automatic due to the fact that I have a screwed up left ankle.
I had surgery to try and correct the issues I was having but it still isnt right. Its still too weak to do too much shifting.

Fligger's 1991 Ford MustangI couldnt wait any longer. I replaced my headers, valve cover gaskets, sparkplugs and some random crap a week after I had ankle surgery. Those headers were a pain in the ass. I couldnt get those things in for s!@#, thats when I realized that my motor mounts were bad and the engine was dropped down about 2 inches.

Suspension
BBK Progressive Rate Lowering Springs $225
Energy Suspension F/R Coil Spring Bushings $40

Energy Suspension Sway Bar End Links

All that install and I didnt need caster/camber plates. The car aligned perfectly. The springs didnt drop the car far enough down that I would throw everything out of wack.

Brakes
PBR calipers off a 2002 GT (5 lug conversion spindles)
Had to modify the calipers and the original front brake line mounts to use the steel braided brake lines for the fox body lines. Take a look at the before and after pics of the calipers.

Just took my car off of the jackstands today (Oct 19, 2008) after a few weeks of only working on it when I had time.  This is what I did:

New tranny mount

Shift improver kit (nice addition)

Tranny fluid and filter

New oring on dipstick tube

Engine oil and filter

New windshield washer bottle

Rolled fenders due to my tires rubbing

New battery cables

New speedo cable

Another instrument cluster with white face gauges (f'n speedo went out again.)

Fuel tank gromment for filler neck (started leaking after I replaced the fuel pump)

One trip to Walmart and I have both pockets done.  Here is what the doorpanels look like now with the map pocket, speaker grill and armrest replaced. Nothing too special but its all I can do myself.

Here are the rims that I bought off of a guy on ebay for $54, thats right, only $54.  I also have a set of Weld Draglites that were given to me by a friend.  15x9's in the back and 15x4's in the front.

275/50R15's and 26x7.50-15's.

I finally finished the five lug conversion and PBR brake upgrade. It took a lot of work, but it was all worth it.
Take a look.

This is a pic of a GTO that I saw driving the other day. Not a big fan of them but they could easily stomp my ass. I liked the license plate so I had to post the pic.

Matt, thank you for your service for our country. That is one really nice 5.0 you've got there. What you've done to it so far and will continue to do is amazing. One day I'll own a true muscle car, but I'm happy with my baby muscle car: my 03' 3oth Anniversary Editon Pontiac Grand Am GT1 Sedan w/ the SC/T package, check it out and let me know what you think.
