cruzn808's 1998 Ford Contour

It's not everyday you see a 17 year-old kid that owns a Ford Contour SVT, let alone an S.V.T. itself. I previously wanted an '94 or newer Acura Integra, Mazda MX6/RX7 or 98 Mitsubishi Eclipse, but after looking at the cost and availability the Contour came up. I Got the SVT at decent deal...$$$. When I bought it, it needed a new shifter, front windsheild. and a rim & tire.
The S.V.T. stands for "Special Vehicle Team." In 1998 Ford only made 5000 of these cars, extremely rare. This car was based priced at $23,000 brand new, the retail has dropped and is now worth around 12g or 13g. When I get done customizing it.. the car should be worth around 14g, maybe 15g at the most.
Ford contour SVT are still considered a Family Sedan... which is great for me because my insurance is based on a Family Sedan and NOT a Sports Vehicle, saving me alotta $$$.

Hey man you might want to Read up a Bit before you start talking about a car that you know nothing @ all, its not a 200+hp car its about 165hp @ the wheels and the levels @ the front of your car are to level your head lights!!lol so just thought that I would let you know. I'm not a Jerk its just I hate it when people talk crap about cars they no nothing about especially when they are there own. hey if you have questions hit me up I also have an svt contour and I'm in the middle of a motor swap. So sweet ride and good luck!!

p.s. go with the 3.0L motor swap or Turbo it you want a turbo for a Standerd transmission car for the most power.

Nice car, but spare yourself the humiliation that comes along with that wing you're looking at and that front air intake. The air intake won't work anyway, not designed for our cars nor will they ever be. The aftermarket for the Contours is small. Nobody makes z3 fenders for the contours that i know of. And the turbo kit is the way to go for this car. The Vortech will end up costing you more by the time u buy the headers, the kit, and have the jackshaft upgraded. Good luck.
