My vehicle situation has changed a bit... I've sold the old van... and traded the Oldsmobile for the monster you see now... He's a 1997 GMC Savana 2500, which should be a little better suited to towing the new boat. The old van didn't quite have the power to pull it up hills very well.

This van has a 5.7L Vortec with a 4L80E transmission and a 3.73 rear end. This combination should tow better AND get better gas mileage than the old van. The GMC was a wheelchair van in its prior life, so it's got a monster suspension and all the extra towing features (oil and trans coolers, bigger brakes, 8 lug wheels, 8600LB GVWR) that come with heavy duty use. I wish it had the interior of the old van, but oh well, you can only ask for so much!

I've finally come up with a name! The van's name is Brutus!

I've only got a few pictures so far, but here he is!
