I bought my 1992 Oldsmobile Achieva in October of 1992. My husband had just gotten me a 1990 Sunbird the year before so he wasn't too happy when I came home and announced I wanted another car. I spied this little red beauty on a local car lot and it was love at first sight. I begged and begged for this car! I promised I would not ask for another car if ONLY I could have this one! After much reluctance my husband went with me to drive it. Once he got behind the wheel and punched the accelerator, he too was in love with it. Needless to say it came home with me the very next day. In all the years I've driven it, there never has been one time I haven't totally enjoyed driving it. I'd come out of a store and look at it with pride. So proud it was mine. Never did I know I had anything special until just recently. Just a few days ago I did some research and discovered how rare these cars are. I've taken excellent care of it as you can see by the pictures. It's always been in the garage when not in use. It has 87,411 miles on it and is still going strong. No problems with it at all. It's been a total joy to own and drive. I plan to keep it in the family for many years to come just recently passing it on to my daughter with orders to take as good a care of it as I have. If she fails to do that, back to Mom it goes.
