THE MOTEGI RACING PROJECT G35 TAKES ON THE BULLRUN
Motegi Racing Performance Wheels has built an Infiniti G35 Coupe for the Bullrun Rally.
Bullrun is the most glamorous and high profile of the new breed of high-end luxury lifestyle automotive rallies. Spanning over 3000 miles over 7 days, the 2006 Bullrun began at Times Square in New York and made it's way to Los Angeles.

A cast of high-rollers, celebrities, and super cars made for one crazy adventure! With nightly stops at 5-star hotels and a party each night...everyone was in for one crazy ride.

Motegi Racing participated in this rolling adventure. The Project G35 was one of only a handful of Japanese cars on the rally. The G35 stood out among the 100 elite supercars and held it's own against the fleet of Ferraris, Lamborghini's, and Porsches.

Each day the ralliers made their way from checkpoint to checkpoint. The drivers were given the "secret" checkpoint locations, one a track where the drivers let loose and showcased their driving skills and the other the nightly 5 star hotel where they would party the night away. Motegi Racing sponsored driver/drifter, Tanner Foust joined halfway through the rally and showed the other drivers what drifting is all about. While the other drivers raced through the tracks Foust kept up and often passed the other drivers, but sideways!

Over 3000 miles can wear and tear on a car. The Motegi Racing DV5 wheels not only improved the styling on the vehicle, but improved the overall performance with it's lighter weight.

The complete build of the vehicle and Bullrun was documented on ESPN2's "Import Racers" TV show, which is also hosted by Tanner Foust.

The Bullrun isn't all fun and games....it's also expensive! Even the Valentine One radar detector can't stop the long arm of the law. Do you smell bacon?

The popularity of the rally has grown in the last year. A new Bullrun Reality show is now on SPIKE TV, Tuesday evenings. Check your local listings or go to www.bullrun.com for more info.
