lallamas's 1988 Jeep Wrangler

This is me in one of my favorite places, Mesquite NV, right across the Utah / Arizona state line.

This is one of the latest pics I have. I've done a bit of work since this pic. I plan on building a fairly respectable trail rig. I plan on replacing my current winch for a XD9000. I plan on upgrading as needed for the most part.

When I bought her, she was a mess. It was loaded for a Wrangler, had air conditioning even. After the ride home and back & forth to work one day, I realized the motor was hosed. I knew this because it was wearing all the oil on the outside!
I had more money than time, so $4,700.00 got me a NEW 4.2L long block. And yes, I should have put a small block Chevy in it and saved about 2 grand, but I had no time. It runs good though......then the BA/10 trans blew ($2,500.00) ON THE ROAD AGAIN.. Then the BA/10 blew AGAIN!!!!!!

hey thanks for checkin my jeep out....i have to tell you i love jeeps...i like the color of yours...sweet....mmm....so if you are thinking to do rhino lining on the inside..i would for sure go for it...i put black on the inside..and then drilled holes in the lowest points...for water drainage...it helps...speed up the cleaning process of the interior...
