I'm not a secretary, I had court that day. Had to look real L7
I bought this car for $400 in February 2007, at a tow yard in Stockton, CA. It was a mess but ran real good. It had a cracked tail light with red tape all over it, in desperate need of a paint job, an ugly luggage rack on the trunk, sun-faded interior, no radio and a little bit of rust. Pretty much a bucket. It looked alot like this one, red tape and all: ~Buick Century~ But I saw clean Scraper potential in it. I liked the fact that it was a 2 door, because the 4 doors are hard to make look cool. But I have seen a few clean ones here on cardomain. I don't see hardly any 2 doors around, but see the 4 door centurys everyday. I figure it must be a well made car to see so many of them on the road 20 years later.
I messed up and didn't take any before pics of it. Right now it is at the hydraulic shop getting raised up so my 20 inch wheels will fit on it. It was a faded burgundy color with water spots when I got it. Some body work and paint job later it is now a maroon/purple. I have put a little bit of beat in it- not too much yet. Just enough to sound good to me and a few cars close to me.
Money I've put into it so far:
$400---CAR--------------------------------(ACTION TOWING)
$150---SMOG AND CATALIC CONVERTER
$150---BACK REGISTRATION------------------(DMV)
$400---SLIGHT BODY WORK AND PAINT --------(EARL SCHEIB)
$600---SOUND SYSTEM ----------------------(DOWNTOWN L.A.)
$1400--20 INCH WHEELS---------------------(WATERMAN SWAP MEET)
$80----REPLACEMENT TAIL LIGHT-------------(PICK-A-PART)
$530---RAISED UP FOR WHEELS TO FIT--------(A-1 HYDRAULICS)
$400---TUNE UP AND SOME SLIGHT MECHANICAL PROBLEMS
$1200--INTERIOR
$80----NEW IGNITION
Damn, I put more into this car than I thought. It sure does love me though. I saved her from the junk yard and dusted her off. I love scrapers.
All I need to do to it now is get the upholstry done and I got the hook up for that. Gonna be $1200- matching purple and white guts. I will soon have an AFTER pic once I get it out of the shop. It should be all the way finished in a couple of weeks.

Well now I know why I don't see much of these on 20's. I had the suspension raised about 4 inches, the struts bent and shaved, and spacers- and these big ass struts are still in the way. So it should be out of the shop tonight or tomorrow after the adapters come. It'll be right then. I saw it yesterday with the back wheels on and it looks HELLA clean already. Can't wait til it's done. PICS soon. Oh yeah! A-1 Hydraulics in Highland, CA is doin a great job on my car!

+++FINALLY OUT OF THE HYDRAULIC SHOP+++
Well, here's some pics, After a week and a half of trying to get these 20's to fit, they're finally on... barely. I still need to do some more to make some more room for them because they scrape alot. Next week or so, it'll be in the upholstery shop. Trying to find a chrome grill for it too. It's coming along. I love it.

suspension is high now, i like it
