A nice North Texas Lotus Club drive in November of 2007.
*UPDATE* 4/19/07 I've had the car for 2 months now. It's got about 1300 miles on the clock and the "First Service" has been done. That means I can use the car as it was intended... and it's amazing!! Quick and light, loud, fast, everyone seems to like it and I'm getting an average of 26 MPG. I can't wait to take it out on the track and REALLY get a feel for it.
*UPDATE* 5/15/07 I've got just over 2100 miles on the car now and I'm still getting 26 + MPG. I'm trying to drive the car only in good weather so it hasn't seen rain yet. But with the weather here in Texas, it just a matter of time before I get caught out in a storm. I love this car!!
*UPDATE* 6/10/07 The car has 3000 miles on it now and I'm still in love with it. People love to take pictures and ask questions about everything from how fast it is to how many tickets I've gotten so far. (None, by the way.) I've even had a police officer give me a thumbs up! Keep an eye out for me if you're in the DFW area and let me know if you see me.
*UPDATE* 5/23/08 The car has 9200 miles now and I've done a few mods. I have a carbon fiber front splitter, a red front tow loop and aluminium carpet buttons all from Sector111 and I added an in-car JVC camera with camera mounts from ChaseCam.
*UPDATE* 7/12/08 The car has 9,900 miles on it and I entered it in a local car show and won a "Participants Choice Award." Everyone who enters a car cast votes for the cars they like, and my car was one of about 10 to win. Thanks to everyone that voted for me!
*UPDATE* 7/15/08 The car has just under 10,000 miles on it now and I have to order a new set of tires. It looks like with mounting it will run about $1350.00. I should have the new set by the weekend.
*UPDATE* 7/24/08 Four new Yokohama AO48s and the car is like new again! The total coast was $1312.00 and Overseas Motor in Dallas even gave me a rental car to use while they worked on mine. Thanks to Ana and Jason! Great job!
*UPDATE* 10/6/08 The car won 1st place in class at the "Cars Roadshow" contest held in Denton. Thanks to everyone who voted for me!
